How much of this is true -

Ten Reasons to Throw out your Microwave Oven‏
01). Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven causes long term - permanent - brain damage by "shorting out" electrical impulses in the brain [de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue].
*
02). The human body cannot metabolize [break down] the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.
*
03). Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.
*
04). The effects of microwaved food by-products are residual [long term, permanent] within the human body.
*
05). Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.
*
06). The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when cooked in microwave ovens.
*
07). Microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths [tumors]. This may explain the rapidly increased rate of colon cancer in America.
*
08). The prolonged eating of microwaved foods causes cancerous cells to increase in human blood.
*
09). Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and blood serum alterations.
*
10). Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence.

Sure the website has tried their best to sell their point ... but there probably is some element of truth.

I visited http://www.theorganicpharmacy.com/ for health accessment and they strongly discouraged using microwave for reheating food.

Yeah, good post. All these points are common knowledge now. I've lost loads of family with microwave oven-induced cancer.

Get a life.

Apart from not explaining why food cooked by a microwave would cause this problem and not conventionally cooked food (maybe it does in the article, I don't know) you're brain tissue is neither polarized nor magnetized so can't be de-polarizing or de-magnetizing.

This freestanding microwave and grill failed to impress in our tests – microwaving is slow and uneven, and food becomes dry and shrivelled around the edges.

The LG MH5847C is one of the worst offenders when it comes to uneven heating, so you'll need to stir your dishes more regularly than usual to avoid hot and cold spots. The exception to this rule is the auto-defrost program, which manages to thaw frozen mince gently and evenly.

The microwave is slower than average, and the long cooking times allow food to dry out. It’s even slower if you are cooking several dishes one after the other, and shows a marked drop in power output when it’s been used continuously. This means that the last few items will take longer to cook, so you’ll have to add extra cooking time.

The grill isn’t too bad, though, and browns food reasonably well.

The controls are operated using a sleek touch panel, which is easy to wipe clean. The buttons are well labelled and intuitive to use, and the digital display is also clear and easy to read.

Multi-stage programming is possible but complicated, so you'll need to refer to the user-friendly instruction manual.

Pros: good auto defrost

Cons: microwave is slow, cooking is uneven, food dries out

Good review and good spot by OP. However, those are some serious flaws which will genuinely affect the performance and convenience (which is frankly what microwaves are all about) of this unit. Good price, but wouldnt buy it on the basis of the points above.
