I've been looking for a TV (must have scart socket) that will also do as a monitor, but must play DIVx files for ages!

This is a Jack of All Trades, but for this money, I wouldn't expect it to be amazing in any one feature, reviews are mixed, usually around 6.5/10 - 7/10. But it's exactly what you need to take in a Caravan this Summer!

However, it has

HD Freeview turner built in
Scart, Component, USB, PC sound, RGB (dsub), 2xhdmi inputs.

It plays DIVx wonderfully, even 720p ones (not tried 1080p), straight from my external usb hard disk (160GB). so is ideal for the caravan.

The sound is great too, it has a big sub (for a small tv)

not sure what more to say, I can't find a TV/monitor that has a scart socket that plays DIVx for cheaper, AND it comes with COSTCO warranty.

this is the website, but it dosn't say what video formats are supported.
http://www.lg.com/uk/it-products/monitors/LG-tv-monitor-M2380DF.jsp

the next cheapest place for this TV is PC World, and it's £58 more!

Hi, that's a good find, but doesn't look like it has USB divx playback on it, which is a must for in the Caravan!

The OP mentions the Costco warranty - don't forget it's 5 years !

It does have a USB input although you do need to hack the TV to get the DIVX playback to work. Oh and as far as I can tell the Costco TV doesn't have HD Freeview either.

Oh,to clarify yes the one posted here has hd free view built in, not that I need that.

Not sure why this was voted cold, I'd take it back and buy a cheaper one if anybody could post one (you can do that at Costco!) . But it's must have USB and divx!
