LG Optimus 4X HD - Mobiles.co.uk T-Mobile £15.50pm Free Phone - 50 Mins, 250 SMS & 750MB Data @ Mobiles.co.uk £372.00
Android 4.0.3, 1.5Ghz Quad Core Tegra 3, 4.7" IPS HD Display, 1GB RAM, 16GB Stroage (with MicroSD slot), Removable battery (2150mAh), 8MP Camera with Flash and NFC (plus all the other stuff you'd expect from a top end phone).
The downside is it's LG so don't expect great support from them, but with £27 Cashback from Quidco (£27.27 from TCB) bringing it down to £345 with 2 Years service (with decent data albeit mediocre minutes and text) I think it's a pretty decent price.
Stock says Pre-Order but release date should be Monday, delivery on Tuesday.

It should be unlocked.
My girlfriend's HTC One S came unlocked.
Don't think you can downgrade, but might be able to cancel and not pay VAT, you'd have to check with T-Mobile. There's some threads on their site but its not working for me at the moment.

It was the stringing along for 10 months that really hurt. Apparently Korea is getting it.., I won't hold my breath.

There are allegedly 5 new Nexus devices launching in November. A fool would buy this now.

There's no doubt the new 'Nexus' phones will be great, the leaked specs of the LG suggest it's got a Snapdragon S4 Pro (which is an amazing SoC).
But a new 'Nexus' phone won't be available for £15.50 for a long time! Even the current Galaxy Nexus isn't cheaper than £20.50 a month.
The 'bloat' isn't too bad on this phone, anything that's not wanted can be removed by rooting, installing CWM and then using ROM Cleaner to remove anything you want.
Seems like a great deal but i'm affraid that any phone made by LG is COLD!!!!
Hardware will be top notch but it will be weighed down with bloatware from LG and will be very, VERY, V E R Y slow to get Android
updates....
Seriously, avoid this like the plague, you have been warned. (Oh and don't expect to be able to work around the above with custom roms, even they don't work properly because LG are so sh*te)
