Thanks.

Looks a very nice phone :) Thanks for the pointer ducky and the review link schizoboy!
#5
Sounds great, will wait to see what the contract's like tomorrow, but if it's the same 400min+100txt then it's an even better deal! This LG is so much better than the 6822...
Thanks, that's a hot vote!
#6
There's an offer on at the moment. 10 months free on the o2 400 tariff. That's £75 for the year.

The 11 months free offer is just 250 x-net mins and 100 texts. Still a great deal though. The phone is great for the price.
#7
Both for £35 a month? 400min is 6 hours and 40 minutes, that's massive! 250 minutes might be "only" 4 hours and 10 minutes but it's still more than most people usually spend on their mobile phone. Sure is enough for me!

Thanks for the precision, duckmagic!

Hey the link works here now! I though that when you said tomorrow, that would mean as from early morning, and the link was not working yet. I mean it's not even the 9th yet!
Now it sends me to the 10-month offer...
#9
Damm, I ordered the Nokia the other day, I may cancel and get this instead.
#10
When I saw this deal, I was tempted to sign up until I read a lot of poor user reviews at http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_p7200-1260.php . It seems that the phone is quite unreliable and many of the functions are poorly executed. At the moment CPW is showing the deal as 10 months free on O2 400 mins, but if it changes to 11 months free on 250 mins, it might be worth signing up just for the sim card.
#11
It's 10 months and £35 pm and 400xmin and 100 texts
#12
I havent read it properly, But if its By cash back redemtion, then steer well clear. I had a nightmare with CarephoneWarehouse redemtion center. There usless!
#13
I beg to differ regarding cashback from CPW. I have never had a problem with them, or their counterparts e2save and OSPS.
#14
My 6822 ordered has been held up due to an error with credit check I found out just now by phone, so cancelled that verbally & ordered the LG via Quidco!

I too had a problem with E2save cashback, it was the CPW staff who actually helped me to resolve!!

I didn't allow a month before cancelling my orange contract at the end of the 12 month period, therefore had to pay extra - but the deal was so good overall I'm more than happy!!

Every shop will make it difficult to redeem cashback, but CPW are the most relaxed on their terms, which makes them the best IMO.

thank you for this order .. my chatterbox expires in mar so this slots in beautifully!

Go through to CPW from Quidco and then you need to do a search for this phone - it comes up with the 10 months offer and then you go down to the green button for show other offers.
#30
Cancelled the nokia over the phone and ordered this.

Quidco has tracked as well.
#31
Found it. Thank you

cool... voted hot!
thanks for the help

I got this this morning and had the 10 months free £35p/m 400 xmin and 100 texts which i think is a better deal than the one showing £30p/m 250/xnet and 100 texts.

You save £330 with the 11 months and £350 with the 10 months.

Ok with quidco you get this for £2 profit but the other is gonna coast £33 for 150 extra mins per month so £2.75 for 150 mins.

I could be wrong though! But it's shipped anyway lol
#34
You're right. I simply went for the cheapest offer. The other may suit people a lot better, they are both just as good as each other.

:) The fact they're with Carphone Warehouse, the most reliable of the cashback companies, makes these very desirable offers.
#35
Yeah, both offers are good.

I went for the cheaper one, because i dont need more then 200mins, but my sister has gone for the 400mins.
#36
Mines dispatched as well.

Ordered at about 11am.

O2-30, 250 mins/mth, term cost is £30 (11 mths free)
O2-35, 400 mins/mth, term cost is £70 (10 mths free)

so the difference is £40 which makes £3.33/mth for a extra 150 mins/mth. It is not just that, with O2-35 tariff you also get Free Voicemail and 1 month rollover on mins & txts. I normally use 50 mins of Voicemail a mth and also if one doesn't use all 250 mins in O2-30 tariff then they lose the balance mins.

hope this info is helpful, if you are confused which one to choose. I have gone for O2-35:)

Mobile carrier is O2, but your contract will be with CPW, and so terms are different, eg £1 for itemised billing;Online billing is with CPW etc.

Didn't realise there was a difference in voicemail costs between the two contracts. I wouldn't use all the minutes anyway but the voicemail might make a difference. I guess if you used half hour of voicemail a month then it makes it more worthwile to go with the 35 one. Assuming that voicemail is 10p/min.
