Hey all,

Very specific thing but lg Pf1000u for £676 after student (aren't we all) discount seems like a very good price, I haven't seen this one cheaper.

Was a few in stock, check some reviews before purchase as use is fairly specific.

Hope it helps someone.

Interesting video on how one guy uses it, this got me interested in these yay units https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=55la7bJhd04

At 1000 lumens you will need a practicality dark room to use it, you need over 3000 to use in sunlight or about 5000 for direct light.

cheap as chils

Horses for courses guys, 1000 lumens doesn't need a darkened room and it's a specific use case if someone wants one

I have acer led in the bedroom that does 700 lumens and with curtains closed it's fine in the day so from experience, not fussed for any heat just sharing a good price which this is

Someone bought them anyway all gone now so will expire

Curious - anyone see this cheaper to allow for all the old votes?

Did he used to be on television? That voice is very familiar as someone who sat through a lot of BBC documentaries and educational videos in school.

That's tempting though, won't replace the optoma HD141X in the living room with floor to ceiling windows and terrible blinds but it might work in a bedroom.

Oddly enough looking to replace the 141x in my bedroom/ toy room with this as then can also use it in the lounge as a permanent fix doesnt work or get the size.

Just tried it out and the pull down screen doesn't have the tension so getting the little wobbles along the top need to decide how much it annoys me in movies or games

Well wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless mine is particularly bad:-

Poor focus - an issue from the reviews but it's really bad
Motion tearing - even though it's England playing makes it unwatchable enough the picture was pretty bad in hd
Bluetooth audio was not synced pretty annoying

Wanted it to be awesome - it isn't based on the one received.
