This works out at just £6.70 per month after cashback. Purchase via QuidCo for £60 in extra cashback, bringing the total cost down to £20 - that's less than £2 per month.

The Prada phone by LG is a unique, sophisticated and elegant mobile phone with the first complete advanced touch interface. It's a stunning-looking device, just 12mm thin and weighs 85g. It has a 3 inch touchscreen with an easy to use interface, simply touch the screen with your finger to select the option you want. The Prada phone has a 2 megapixel camera with Schneider Kreuznach lens, flash, zoom and video record. It also has a built-in FM radio, an MP3 player and a video player. Videos can be viewed in widescreen by turning the phone sideways. There are several games built in, plus all the useful features you expect in a modern mobile phone; address book, organiser, alarm clock, Bluetooth, web browser, Macromedia Flash and a document viewer, supporting Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files.

This offer works by cashback which you claim from Phones4U at specified intervals. You have a massively generous 60 days to send the claim. You must have paid each bill in its entirety, so please only use this deal if you can afford to pay the bills on time and remember to keep on top of the cashback. Use recorded delivery when sending the claims, or even special delivery with consequential loss cover. Phones4U are a large high street firm, and are fairly reliable when it comes to cashback.

Purchase via QuidCo.com for £60 in extra cashback. **Remember to decline/cancel the insurance that they try to give you as it can be very expensive!!**

this is all well and good but are you intending on NEVER sending a text.

Either they'll cost you per sms or you buy a bundle, either way it's gonna cost you loads more then £20

I should have made it clear that there's 250 texts too.

The reason I included the 700 mins in the title is that it's high and these are what usually costs people the most.

Looked at site - but can you just clarify. You get 25% back at months 6, 8, 10 and 12. Does this mean I have to pay £40 a month for 6 months then get £100 back every two months after that?

Thanks loads,
Jim.

Basically, yes, although not quite as simple as that :?

You need to "claim" your cashback at months 6, 8, 10 and 12, within a certain time period and with all the correct paperwork.

Personally, never had a problem with cashback offers
(apart from one company that vanished in the early days of these offers! Wasn't too bad as at the time it was £15 a month and I needed a phone anyway so wasn't that annoyed, really ;-))

Some people choose dodgy companies with unbelievable offers and then either forget or mess up the claim (which is what they want you to do).

You pay £40 per month for the entire 12 months (£480).

During your contract:

You send your 6th bill and get a cheque for £100.
You Send your 8th bill and get a cheque for £100.
You send your 10th bill and get a cheque for £100.
You Send your 12th bill and get a cheque for £100.

£100 x 4 = £400 (which is 10 months' line rental)

Hope that helps! :)

I actually quite like this phone :)

I've had several, but have always ended up selling them on as they have been worth more as cash in my pocket than having a nice phone (to break/scratch/drop etc).

Just wondered why you picked this deal over the M2YD offer :?

It's the same tariff, same phone, same company (sort of) but with 11 months out of 12 free and seem to think it's £55 quidco, so a profit over the year?

Just wondered if there was anything I didn't know about?

Do you know if these are the new tariffs with the internet use included? (Or have I imagined that one?)

Thanks

The perception of HUKD customers is that Phones4U is a more reliable company as it's a trusted brand name that everyone recognises from the adverts. M2YD are, in fact, ran by exactly the same staff - but HUKD'ers still seem to prefer Phones4U offers.

I'm not entirely sure (not heard anything to suggest so).

Of course if you're happy with m2yd then you can get this on 11 months free, slightly less quidco I believe but you'd be a little bit better off.

Bumpity-bump. :)

I've got one of these phones, so here's a few points about it.
Photo's are great in natural light. In lower light they are black unless you stand within 12 inches (30 cm) even with the phones light on. All the light does is blind everyone. It makes no difference to the photos.
Texts can be a little fiddly as you sometimes get double presses registering on the screen which can turn off the predictive text as it doesn't recognise the additional letter. You have to delete the last letter to continue spelling out the word.
Sliding the phone in and out of the case will scratch the screen after a while.
Instructions are not very good (when the first came out anyway)
Battery life is around 4 days, but it will also chazrge with the USB adapter that comes with it (turns phone into USB drive and deactivates phone functions - so no calls while plugged in)

If you buy the bluethooth headset, the charger is a 2 pin with UK adapter, and it will also charge the phone.

Cheers

You've just given a wonderful review of ANY early digital camera of about 3Mp or less in your intro. I am convinced that they will never get close to a semi decent SLR digi or trad!

Do you know if the USB will charge without a special program running? My RAZR won't. Unless, (get ready for it MAC fans!!!) you USB it into a Mac!!

If someone has quidco and wants a free line for a year + £60, I'll give you £80 for the LG Prada, we can meet up at a Phones4U store.

Hi,
Am I correct in saying that this is the best cashback deal at the moment ?
Im after a new contract in the next 2weeks and already have a phone so would like the best over 12m cashback. Hmmm what to go for
