Voted cold as this is now aged and ancient!

I've owned one of these since I went to Africa >>Stage Touch 4GB Media Player 2.5 inch Touch Screen with Note Pad FM Radio and Voice Recorder BlackI paid about £40 for mine but at £52.99 it's still a bargain!! Get some decent headphones and you have a top MP3 player for a fraction of the cost. Only negative point is the sometimes slow OS. Build quality is great on mine. Dropped it loads of times and often store it with my wet kayaking gear.

Looks really nice. i've been looking at the samsung p1 aswell. lg and samsung are normally pretty similar in what they produce. I'm going to see if there's an 8gb version. but the price on this is real cheap. thanks for the heads up http://www.image-jump.com/image/iP/Bh.gif

Sony is a brand name and nothing else. No better than any other brand - do not be fooled.

whats the point getting a 2 yr old mp3 player technology has progressed so advanced in sound, 2 yrs technology is no match for today technology.
#11
There's no improvement in the sound quality - an MP3 player is an MP3 player, and the compression artifacts which are inherent to MP3 will be the same.

Oh dear - another one who likes to pounce in and shout "wrong". Well I guess if it gives you a little thrill then someone's happy.

Yes, there is a marginal difference between the players. But that's nothing to do with whether the technology is two years old or not.

grow up! take it you are not able to debate properly, well never mind

i highly disagree with your statement that all mp3 players are the same thats all

ive just ordered cowon s9 myself apparently best mp3 player around for sound

Good - well if you "highly disagree" you can do it in a far more constructive way than the puerile method you employed (in both posts). Particularly ironic that you think that this is "debating" - unless you model it on the sort of "debate" you get at Prime Minister's Questions.
