Yes, yes, yes, I know, it's a Littlewoods deal. But before you all go for me like rage-infected rhesus monkeys, it's worth pointing out that 48 hours after I ordered this I now hold an LG Viewty for £25 cheaper than anywhere else.

The attached voucher ZQ209 works fine for any account, and to be on the safe side, I bought this over the 20 week interest free payment option.

VAT is reduced at the till.

Littlewoods direct, additions, marshall ward et al have it listed for £99, but when you get to the till it's out of stock.

Feel free to vote cold if you are that way inclined.

I ordered this myself last week using the same code.

Littlewoods/great universal never pay out on Quidco though if you have used a discount code! Never have with me even when I open a dispute I always get the same reply of no discount etc.

I also had to phone them as on checking my on-line statement the discount code was missing and they had to put it back on as I said I had the email with the proof that I used a code.

That's why I held back on the initial payment.

Tricksy little bleeders.

i know the O2 PayG phones are usually locked to the network,

but could anyone confirm whether this ones are locked/unlocked?

thanks in advance

O2 has horrendous prices for PAYGO. £1.50 per minute to Europe? No thanks! (you can buy a "bold-on" and fiddle around with top-ups to get it cheaper, but you might as well buy a contract phone instead)

I'll stick with Orange = 6ppm to Europe.

That make Littlewood combined with O2 PAYGO = the worst possible deal!

O2 payg are normally locked, but if anyone got ones I like to know for sure too.
I was actually sent the code this morning so I can use it and they can't do anything about it !!!

Am I right in thinking this is the one where the stylus hangs off the side like a lipstick ? Hows it for working with just the fingers ?

I'm sure I can't be the only one to note the extreme nit picking in your arguement.

I can't remember the last time I called anyone in europe. I'd imagine 98% of other people are in the same boat.

I've had a viewty now for 4 months and its the worst phone I have ever had, the controls are fiddley, especially the jog button on the back, the battery life is non existant, the reception is useless... wish I had never upgraded from my old nokia...:x:x

It's only an example. UK prices are the highest in the business as well, Look at their prices. I don't understand how anyone cannot see this and get fooled by the "free calls" and "free SMS", which of course aren't free at all.

BTW, the Europe prices are actually against the new European legislation which limits inter-european phone charges for under 50ct. I wonder where else O2 is not complying with legislation and probably ripping customers off with hidden charges. Don't trust them, but it's your choice, anyway.

Agreed, great phone as long you don't mind charging every night.

You must have too much money or are on a contract phone. My price comparison relates only to Pay-as-you-go.

In general people in the UK don't compare prices for mobile phones and O2 is taking advantage of that.

Their price structure is deliberately made very complicated (which is illegal elsewhere). while Orange, Asda, Ikea and some others have introduced an easier price structure.

In Europe, O2 has the cheapest tarriffs. Why not in the UK?

As far as calling Europe goes I use skype, so dont give a monkeys what the price is, it's all about finding the right provider for your circumstances, and i've always been v happy with 02

Install a Skype client. You can get them for win mobile and symbian.
