Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to connect this monitor to a macbook? and if so what would I need to connect it? (I think my macbook has a mini DVI out)

Well, yeah but it has special settings to adjust to be either 1000 or 8000 etc.

And i had one of these monitors, had dead pixels on delivery :(.

Looks like it only has a VGA connection?

Had LG LCD's a while ago - both had dead pixels on collection. Bought a Philips and nearly 3 years later no problem.

No it has an actual contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a dynamic contrast of 8000:1. DCR next to useless IMO and that of many.

It is getting so all these companies mis-represent the contrast ratio by quoting DCR - the same way some camera companys quote spec for "digital zoom" rather than optical zoom.
