same price in comet

It is indeed.
Got £40 of vouchers for xmas and has comet on it.
Went in as i drove by, to look for a monitor. Saw it for £107, was gonna snap it up but not enough in account damnit, need to cash my cheque tomorrow.

Good price if you want it delivered anyway.

I bought one of these a while back, it has a nice enough image, however I had real problems with pixel walk, to the point of getting headaches. I sent it back and got a Samsung 2253BW instead which knocked the LG out the park, especially for games.

However, looking back at a post I made on a tech forum about the problem with the LG, someone else has since posted saying that using the factory reset function solves the pixel walk issue.

Haven't voted either way, just providing info in case anyone is stuck with the problems I had.

Seems like an excellent deal, going for a PC around mid-january. Would probably get something similar nearer to the time. Around same price of ebuyers monitors (LG). Hot added.

Just bought this from Comet. Great monitor!

I bought this bad boy from there yesterday, (I had Bonus Bonds to use up), and from what I've seen so far it seems like a really nice monitor, especially for that price.
I'm not massively geeky when it comes to PC stuff, so there could be inherent techy problems that I'll never encounter with it, like when playing the newest games on it.
But as I only really ever use my PC for the internet and watching films...... *cough* it's an awesome purchase.

there is a 13£ voucher for tesco direct on this forum somewhere. cant be bothered to look for it.
i bought this monitor and i can say it is good quality. only has a vga cinnector but thats ok.

i bet this time next year we will be buying 28" LGs for the same price.
my first flat screen was a 15" Philips from Currys and it cost me 250£ five years ago.

I can attest there are no problems with gaming, the monitor is just fine.
one thing i cant understand is response time. when do you actually see it?
the only downside on this monitor is the brightness. and resolution could be bigger, i used to have a 20" Acer with same resolution.

Wonder if they have got the contrast ratio wrong! i bought this exact model from them a few weeks ago for £100 and there is a small sticker on the top right hand corner of the monitor with 5000.1 on it, unless this means something else.

What's your problem? I'm informing people who take up this offer how to resolve an issue that I, and another buyer of this monitor had 'right out the box'.

Go whistle...
