Direct link doesn't seem to be working. Here it is:

Seems strange that in the description or specs it doesn't mention 3 years guarantee or what kind either.
Very pleased with my philips 24" monitor that I've had for a year now and is a 3 year on-site swap guarantee... paid around £150 for it from ebuyer last year.

Not a bad deal, shame it seems to lack RCA/component though. (I think?)
#6
how does it compare to this Benq one?

thanks

Its a Monitor, What else do you want, A Free Diamond Ring? Some people always try to figure out the negatives.

would this be good with a ps3? does that need HDCP?

Been trying to decide between this monitor and the Samsung B2230H for about a week now and I still can't decide.

We've got 4 of these Samsung B2230H at work - seem pretty good to me. Not as nice as my 23" sammy, none too shabby. And despite initial appearances, they do actually TILT, with some brute force applied.

Bought one of these just over a year ago - stopped working recently. Now in the bin. :(

Can I plug a digibox into this and watch tv?

Pixmania doing the 2m response rate version for £120, better for gaming.

I'm also thinking of buying that monitor, Jamble.

The response time of the BenQ is better (2ms) - as to whether I'd really notice the difference between 5ms and 2ms is a whole different matter.

I was also tempted by this LG LED monitor for a few extra gold coins.

This is better for the money: http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=35960

and is £103.39 in the today only section.

dvi > hdmi adapters are very cheap too if you want hdmi.

good reviews on amazon also: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-P225HQ-21-5inch-Monitor-50000/dp/B002PU9R7K/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1285186241&sr=1-1

Excuse my ignorance here (I've been out of PC gaming etc for a while) - but DVI and HDMI result in identical pictures - but DVI doesn't carry the sound (which I'm guessing isn't a problem if you're using separate speakers)?

@ Puj - yes - that Acer was also on my short list. 4.5 stars from around 25 customer reviews on Amazon - not too shabby. ;)

I have the acer and havent had any problems with it, i chose it over the lg and other ones i looked at due to its price and i think the stand looks better on the acer.

That's great to hear, I haven't heard much about Benq. With your comment in mind, I reckon I'll order it.

It's just for uni, so my 360 and laptop can be plugged in at the same time, and I looked at the DVI monitors and just think it's so much less hassle for audio if I get one with HDMI.

I can't remember if we're allowed to link to Youtube on this site - but anyway, here's a short video review of the BenQ monitor.

Just the mention of Pixmania fills me with dread - I think I'd go with this one!
