Is it locked to Orage?

No, but it might be locked to Orange.
#3
hmm. the page doesn't say. might ring up their customer service to see if it is or not...

passed from front line to their manager who told me it was Orange locked and comes with sim. however there's loads of websites with unlock codes for the gd910. the power of the internet ;)

holy ****. this is cool.

Stuff your iphone elsewhere, i got to get me one of these.

Just one small question..how do you listen, some sort of ear piece? the website does not say.

Orage..lmao

you can get a phone watch for £45 on ebay that has touch screen camera etc my partners just got one and he thinks its great. it has speaker phone or bluetooth headset to listen
#7

If we stick to the usual HUKD rule of "can you find it cheaper?", this is super hot. Personally, I'd take this over an iPhone anyway, but with the sheer size I can see me bashing it against things and breaking it very quickly.

No, but it might be locked to Orange.

That's ok. I can't stand the Orage network. They're too busy chasing unicorns to deal with their customers. oO

No, I'm not making up networks.

Just had a look at the ebay offerings which kinda make this look cold.

you can't compare items from proper retailers against fakes off ebay because then almost every deal looks cold

I'm not comparing against fakes...I was looking at how much the new technology costs on eBay and I didn't find one single fake of this product or anything trying to pass itself off as such.

Ebay is quite a good place for getting new tech products before they hit the mass market in the UK.

I don't think your use of the word fake was very founded in this context....just because some other genuine company may use one or more licenced components doesn't mean they are fake.

Heres the demo of the watch when it was released approx 2 years ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcCi87KIELM

Excellent concept but doubt that it is worth £250. Lets face it, if I had £250 to spare then I would be buying the HTC Desire.

This on the other hand (no pun intended) is innovative and one of LG's strengths. A great idea but defo for a niche market of consumers.

I'll wait til the price drops to less than £100.

NO! COLD!

Sorry, but I would want at least 32" full hd for that price.

I cannot get a decent signal via my Orage ski jacket either.

Looks nifty, hows battery life on it? as the last thing you want to do is be taking a watch on & off several times per day.
Will my cufflinks interfere with the reception do you reckon? (_;)

even if it is, you could pull it of him, the only problem is, where is he buried??

If it was £100 I would probably give it a try as I currently need a decent phone, but £250? No thanks.

And thats even before anyone mentions the vibrate profile!

Just ordered one, not because it's going to replace my HTC Desire, or even my current watch permanenty but because I'm a bit of a Geek and was considering buying this 18 months ago when it was £500. For this price it's got to worth a play, even if it does end up as an unused gadget in couple of months... so what I'll add it to all the other unused gadgets Next to my HD-DVD player :-)

Unless you have really bendy fingers you'll only be able to use 1 hand to text!

I actually owned one of these. It was fun and made me smile. Was so rare at the time I bought for £450 and sold for £750!.. 100% totally pointless mind you!
#34
Will this be available in the orange shop? Chance to try before i buy plus iv got bout £30 to use from my phone fund.

Cold. No 4 inch AMOLED touchscreen.

At the very least, I'd expect a 3.5mm headphone port or a 12mp Carl-Zeiss camera.

I'm pretty sure that would be heavy on the wrist lol.

I guess the most important test though is... WILL IT BLEND?
#39
Can't see it catching on tbh, just isnt practical. :/

Looks ridiculous - like a combination between a 1970s calculator and first generation digital watch - the ones where you had to press a button to light up the time :)
