Just seen this on Richer Sounds. Cracking deal if you need to make your LG tv or bluray wireless. My Dad bought one of these from Currys in February at £19.99 which I thought was a bargain back then.

Only available in some stores but worth a call anyway as I have found the, still to be in stock when not shown on the website.

I take it this would work on the Amazon deal from yesterday?

If you mean the amazon deal featuring the LG LN570V then yes. It works with that tv. My Dad purchased that model in February and he purchased this LG dongle for it from Currys. It should also works with any 2013 bluray players, maybe 2014 but not too sure as LG have a new dongle out now for the 2014 range.

silly question, would this work with a Samsung smart tv?

I think that would be highly unlikely. I certainly wouldn't take the risk even at this price.

Will this work with my toaster?

@ bilbob, what make is your toaster? I have one and it works with my kenwood iron.

Attempted using one of these, but just resulted in multiple dns errors, really depends on your set up and ISP, talktalk didn't work

My TV came with one of these but I gave up as it pretty much had to be next to the router to connect and was useless at streaming 1080p content. Use a wire instead.

I've heard from a friend that it melted the socket on her breville sandwich maker... makes me nervous to test...
I've got a purple kettle from Wilkinsons.

Your LG television won't have built-in drivers for the £3 eBay one. So, the £3 eBay one won't work.

Thanks everyone for the heat. Just remember that if any of you have a telephone socket on the wall at the back of your tv plug your router in there and then you don't need to have wifi for your smart tv as you can use the ethernet socket which will always be better.

i actually bought this some time ago for £19.99. It works fine. Unless your tv is fixed to the wall i would just purchase a home plug. They have come down considerably in price and you can use them on other items.
