Only just though? To quote "The LG 42LM620T is an imperfect, but nevertheless decent LED LCD TV. Happily at this price point, it doesn’t have any significant picture quality issues beyond the inherent limitations of its mediocre black level (unavoidable with IPS-type LCD panels) and the lessened 3D resolution (par for the course with passive 3D). Colour reproduction could also be better, with the LM620T failing to reproduce the most saturated extremes of the Rec.709 HDTV colour standard, something we often see with LED-lit LCDs."
Might be worth waiting just a little longer though as it seems that currently there is almost a Summer price war going on for large screen TVs as the newer spec'd models come on stream.

Already done that :)
"The e-mail from trading standards has stated that LG are "unable to support 24p material in its current state due to a hardware/software flaw." And those customers who purchased the product when 24p was an advertised specification are allowed a full refund.
What Trading Standards also said to LG is even more significant, they have been advised to ensure that their “future advertising was accurate for that TV/range” and this not only implies that a fix for 24p issues is unlikely, it has also forced LG to remove any mention of 24p support from their website for the LM range of TV’s."

Bad Times for LG, I nearly bought the 47LM660T couple of weeks ago but I am fussy and reading that put me off.
NO VOTE from me as I consider these affected LG TVs a pile of TAT and would therefore not buy one however for the less fussy this may be a good buy.

Maybe related as to why a lot of dealers are seemingly trying to shift their LG stock at lower prices too lately?

I am wondering it the software update resolves such problems ? as seen on LG site here

Having checked the "whats new" info for the FW update, it is pretty clear there's no 24p update.
"Speaking of film, we were very happy to see the LG render 24p motion without any unwanted judder or interpolation – providing very cinema-like motion. Just be sure that you have [TruMotion] OFF and the [Real Cinema] mode on to get this motion quality, though. Although the LCD panel can’t produce blur-free motion with high-motion video content, the lower frame rate of film (24fps) doesn’t pose any problems for the 42LM620T’s panel."
The issues posted on Neowin refer to the 660 model. Also been reading the avforums 42LM620T users thread and people seem to be pretty happy with it on the whole.
I have a 660T, no issues at all with 24p, looks great via BD and HD-DVD. TAT is certainly isn't, a cracking TV it certainly is.
Note this is with all processing turned off as well. Add to that bad dse on both sets and whilst 80% of the time the set looks great, during those scenarios its one of the worst Ive seen.
Must admit thou RS were great. Im now using a panasonic et50b from RS and sport looks great.
