Presume these 2017 are designed to be better but whether anyone's eyes are good enough to tell the difference ...

Much improvement from the B6V and C6V?

Not checked the spec but on the 55" I think the difference was/is built in sound bar, 3D and picture on glass.

C6V has 3D, but agree the E has improved pic quality (I think due to brightness?) plus in-built soundbar

If I was in the market, I'd probably save quite a few £ and get the 2016 model.

Good price for this if you simply have to have the 65" version.

Mainly the differences for 2017 over the 2016 models are higher peak brightness (Maybe 25% more?) and probably better image processors. Personally at the moment i think the 2016 models will offer you the best bang for buck. Currently toying whether to take the plunge on the 55E6V. There are deals around for these at the £2k mark.
