I'll try and write a review tonight. The Amazon Vine reviews are useless

Great price for the spec and reviews seem quite positive for such a recently released item so order placed! Would have rather had black but at least my wife will like them!

My opinion is mixed, but this is a great price for them regardless

herd the noise cancelling is good and the audio is not to bad. But the fitting is not that good. So in two minds.

I've reviewed them, in great detail, on Amazon. If I don't hear from Libratone support in the next couple of days about a firmware update, I'm going to be returning them

Thanks

I received mine today and saw the current firmware was V52. Once connected to the Libratone App, while plugged into the charger, I was offered a firmware update. My headphones are now V72 and the volume control seems to work fine. Also the sensor that detects when they are on your head seems to never operate while on your head, even if you shuffle the headphones about while getting a comfy fit.

What is the firmware version of headphones you have the issue with?

There reviews on amazon are mainly positive. However most of the 5 stars are from people who received them for free for a review. Can't really trust them, as I would even give them a 5 star if i got them for free.
The main issues seem to be with the software/touch features and the annoying beep noise. As the beep sound is really loud and the volume control not being so great, leading it to jump to deafening levels, I still can't decide.

The touch interface problems are resolved with the latest firmware. Now the volume control works correctly and the touch functions also work fine. The beep sounds only occurs when you operate the touch controls (e.g pause/un-pause or skip track) so not really a issue. It would be nice if the beep volume was adjustable button a deal breaker. As I already mentioned the issue with the sensor that detects if it is on your head now works correctly and never cuts out by mistake. The sound quality and build are really good as is the Bluetooth range; I can wander around the house leaving my iPad in one place and suffer no dropouts at all. For £132 you can't beat these if you want noise cancelling wireless headphones.

Have you updated the firmware in yours yet? I have had a few questions answered by Lidratone support so they must have got back to you by now. Do you plan to update your Amazon review in light of the new firmware?

No, I returned them. When I opened the app, there was no New Firmware notification. My support request was replied to, essentially 'Yeah I've raised these same issues to the team but I have no actual answers'. If I have the chance to try them again in the near future I'll update the review

Shame, you missed a bit of a bargain as with the updated firmware they are very good. The only remaining annoyance is the beep when operating the pause (hush), skip forward and Siri features, although I don't find it too loud it would have been nice to have separate control of this beep volume. I don't think many will have an issue with this in practice as I would not say they are frequent actions.

Just had a message back from Libratone support saying the beep volume is being looked into so hopefully this last sticking point will be resolved in the near future by a firmware update.

With those issues fixed, I'd consider them 4 star headphones, and this would be a great price for them. We still found they slipped too much, and the pad material and style made for sweaty ears, so I'll look out for the next model in a year or so. We got the recent Sony MDR-100ABN deal from Bax, so we're covered for now!
