Any ideal how long this deal will last? I can take advantage of it at the mo, but this will be ideal in a few weeks as I`ll walk right past a LIDL on the way to work . Much heat added!!!

Lidl food is dodgy. You could probably buy that stuff and make it yourself for alot less and have alot better quality.
#11
Hot,

I tentatively tired a Lidl sarnie a couple of weeks ago, and it was nice, not mean on the filling either :)
#12
hot hot
#13
Anyone else been in and got this in other stores yet?

in recent food tests (comparisons) on cookery programs, Lidl and Aldi seem to be getting up there with standards as good as the major players, Tesco, Sainsburys etc....it seems that a lot of people just have a mental block....after all you eat stuff if you tour France and Germany without a second thought....I'll reserve judgement until I try it and see....I'm assuming you've tried it or you are speaking from personal experience?

Hot anyway for the OP

Talking out your backside. Lidl often come top or near top in food comparisons. Often, being European sourced, the food is far more authentic and quality than that from other sm's.

Backed up by facts and evidence or just your opinion having never been in a store??

The deal has been on for about 2 months in our local Lidl in Glasgow so probably will be on for a while.
The only problem for me is the choice of sandwiches :(

Not these sandwiches in particular, but i have purchased things from there in the past and they've been a bit sub-standard.
#21
Really... people, 99p for a meal deal, surely no1 can complain at that price, lucky if you get a sandwhich from sainsburys for that. Heat added thz
#22
... Didnt anyone see that sandwich program last summer, working in dirty conditions sometime, especially with sandwiches this cheap quality seems to be lacking, plus they must be paying people peanuts to work and make these, so i wouldnt go near this deal to be honest.

Not saying this is true for Lidl, but atleast check what your eating.

Lidl stuffs good...some of their stuff tastes better than the other supermarkets too, I mean look at their jam...cheaper AND contains fruit

Your first sentence is just incorrect, as much of their food is as good as, or in some cases better, than many of the 'rip-off' supermarkets.
Your second sentence is probably true, but that would apply to any deal.
Voted Hot - make the supermarkets making BILLIONS pounds profit out of your money work harder.

I would feel a proud movement of No2 after eating this *****!

Only kidding, great deal, heat added.
#35
Bargain in any language :-D
#36
Aldi food is great, Lidl food is improving, some of you should try the aldi meals, they pack some flavour.

Hot deal anyway, you would pay a quid for the water elsewhere.
#37
Great deal, voted HOT!!
#38
Wont be voting hot until this is confirmed in a few other places. Availability is an important factor when voting because a deal thats is available to 1000 people is better than one that is available to 1. So far this hasn't been confirmed by anyone else :(
#39
Also not available or heard of in Andover Lidl.....
