Lidl (Parkside) 10.8V cordless drill driver.

Looks like a decent li-ion drill with removable keyless chuck which then provides you a hex screwdriver bit holder, this reduces the overall length to get better access into tight spots. From the picture it also looks like it has a LED light at the front although this is not mentioned in the description. 2 speed greabox and 17 torque settings. Also has a 3 year warranty. I have a Metabo (which looks remarkably like this, and also has the removable chuck). My 10.8V is really light and easy to work with compared to some 18V drills, although it obviously doesn't have the same power as 18V drills its more than up to most jobs. As with all Lidl specials please check the Lidl site for availability as it can vary from store to store.

Cold votes are fair enough, I just wondered if anyone could show a better alternative at a similar price? Thanks.

Link to the similar Metabo.

Does have the LED, Plastic moulding isn't the best, and speed controller is noisy at low speed. Can't argue with the price, seems strong and there is always a 3 year warranty.

Been using one of these at work for over a year. I use it daily and it's been excellent. Cold voters are ignorant imo.

How long do Lidl sell advertised items instore? I'm guess they won't be doing these any more (until the next time they're shown online).

Looks like a really good drill especially with the quick release chuck to screwdriver feature. Although my closest Lidl is pretty rubbish and rarely has online promos.

My charger went, but can't find the receipt, any chance you can email me a photo copy of yours?? Cheeky, but worth an ask. Or can you put the charger on ebay??
