This is reduced in the Audible sale and might interest those who want to find out more about Carrie after todays sad news.

I love autobiographies and audibles especially when they are read by the author. This gets a rating of 4.1 out of 5 and was released in December 2008 and spent months on the New York Times bestsellers list.

Her other autobiography "Shockaholic" is also in the Audible sale at £6.81 and focuses more on the Star Wars years.

Depends on what you're into. Like I say, I like audibles and autobiographies and they can be quite expensive.

Someone pointed out it was cheap on twitter so I thought I'd share that here

I'm sorry you feel that way but its not like I'm making money from her death - rather her family are. I bought the audible, I thought others might want to also.

If we are going to make a deal out of this, its worth pointing out that both of these and Princess Diarist are available to many for £0.00 if you are eligiable to the Amazon FREE audio trial.

Most people haven't claimed this freebie yet, so if they love Carrie they can hear her voice for a lot less....and yes, royalties are still paid using this method.

I'm on the audible trial but save the monthly credits for expensive biographies that can easily be £15 to £20 (Bryan Cranston's was about £17 or 1 credit) and purchase cheap ones.

Good tip, however we are talking about Carrie's work and if people wanted a deal on the price (and it makes me shudder to even think this stuff is on HDUK already) I was pointing out they can be found on the free trial.

For what its worth, I've just ordered all 3 on CD for about £50. Not looking for a deal, just looking for a little comfort in her voice and looking forward to hearing the stories she has to tell. I could have signed up for the free trial but I'd like to think her family benefit a little more from the physical purchase and I can enjoy the ownership of a physical copy.

Some things are more important than price.

I heard the news about 4 hours ago and and only thought of posting this after seeing someone on twitter mention the audible and after buying it myself. Do I wish I hadn't posted it given the comments? Yes

This has been on sale since 2008. I think she wanted people to buy it. I'm not profiting from this.

Jeez, I'd ignore some of the things people are saying Tanked, I don't know why they feel they have some connection with her.

George Michael will almost certainly get to number 1 this week, this stuff happens every time.

No, I wouldn't sell my families items 4 hours after hearing of their death this morning.
I'm not selling this now. Audible is.
If I'd set up a stall selling her book, if I'd posted some of her items on ebay, I'd get your point.

With Carrie Fisher in peoples thoughts, its only natural people might seek out books by her, like myself. No?
