I had a smaller version years ago and these are great for pain relief. Havent tried this one yet but a big price reduction for anyone who wants one and its much bigger than the old smaller ones, ideal for places you cant reach to rub cream into as well.

Infrared just means it heats objects rather than the air. There are loads of cheaper infrared heaters out there that do just as good a job without the medical claims http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-Halogen-Heater-Portable-Hot-Home-Office-Heating-Radiator-Lamp-Infrared-/121531175141?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1c4bd290e5

Sorry that one you linked to just isn't the same at all, you cant compare a small room heater to a medical heater as they just don't work the same.

Posting is for a medical infra red device with timer for pain relief, your link is for a halogen room heater, different use.

Please explain the differences in performance as all infrared rays are within a set wavelength and frequency. So what are the medically proven attributes of yours over the the one I referenced?
