Jump to unread Post a CommentI finally got round to buying the Carbon Monoxide Detector. I didn't get a smoke detector as I already have 2 installed.
A lot of people might think that there is no point in getting a Carbon Monoxide Detector but can you really put a price on your life and that of your family? My belief is that you should always expect the unexpected - or at least take precautions. Leave nothing to chance I say, otherwise you might regret it.

aarrrhhhh
I am getting frustrated with all this. I want to go back to cave life
Why cant CO alarms come standard with all boilers !!
It's normally the smoke detectors that are fivish/ free. The carbon monoxide detectors are normally >£10. At least around where I live anyway. Good deal OP!
I did, and one day it went off. Turned out that the flue wasn't sealed properly. Just the simple act of having one of these may well have saved my family's lives.

Well you waited for them to drop in price before you bought one so you value your family's life at what, £4.50.
