Great find, ordered a couple. Many thanks op (and if they don't work I'll send them back!).

Expired but avoid like the plague if they come back, they just don't work

£ 195 lol

Had one and had no end of problems. In theory it's amazing, and it was when it worked. In practice you'll end up flicking the wall switch off and on constantly to reset the connection. If you want smart lights get Hue

Mine, and those set up by my Mum at her house work just fine and integrate well with our Amazon echoes. We use either the app or amazon to control them as appropriate.

I'd disagree with people giving these negative reviews. I currently have 3 in my house and they work like a dream. When you first connect them they will set up their own personal wifi which you connect to on your phone, run a firmware update which is done through the app (Android & iOS) and enter your wifi details. After that they just connect and have been 99% pain free. I have had an issue with one bulb not responding to the app but turning them off and on at the wall switch will resolve it and this has happened once in almost a year of them being set up. The only other issue I have come across is my router was using wifi channel 13 (not normally used on default configs of routers, it was my fault for being cute when setting up my router). Once I corrected that they worked just fine.

I really can't recommend these highly enough, especially compared to the high start up costs of the Phillips Hue system and at £10 a bulb this is an absolute steal, the cheapest I have seen these before is £45.

p.s. the £195 is for the 4 pack. Also, it looks like they've taken this down now as you can't buy them in single packs any more :(

Mine also work fine and have for a long time. Oh well, more cheap bulbs for us! :)

I'm using these bulbs since 2 years, never had any issues.

Also got one and haven't had any issues with it.

So sad i missed this deal!

Not sure whats wrong with you guys, I have 4 of these...and have 4 for the last 2 years or so. I think once i had an issue when i initially set it up and i decided it was faulty so i took it back and got another one which worked perfectly.

Once setup I've never had to make any adjustments or reconnect them. They integrate directly with echo / dot.

I think the real problem here is that items like this have really weak wifi due to the size and nature of the unit. If you don't have the correct equipment or reasonable wifi coverage your going to have issues with the unit dropping out and being unreachable by your devices.

I read these were good ? what's the best option to get red light instead of blue for better sleep at night ?? just the Phillips hue ?

They do coloured as well as just white bulbs. Put the free app on your phone and it links to their US store. Even with import fees their deals from the US seemed competitive.

For just a single bulb, these would be your best bet as you can pick up a new bulb for £50/£60 depending where you shop or maybe even one from ebay for less. The Hue is also a good system but they are controlled by a separate hub which you have to buy in their starter packs which normally run at around £150 for the hub and 3 bulbs.

This is why I started with Lifx, it allows you to test the water of WiFi bulbs for a hell of a lot less

I ordered at £9.99 but I'm wondering if it's a misprice. The product listing for the B22 model has been removed altogether.

Ordered 3 first and then 1, received the 1 so far. Very good for £10, maybe not for £60. Does what it does very well though.

You're lucky, I still haven't even got a shipping date for mine yet! Just hoping I don't get my order cancelled now...
