Argos and Amazon are selling these at £35.99, which is already the lowest ever price for the E27 fitting of LIFX Colour 1000.

Now comes the good part if buying from Argos:
use code 'HOME25' to take extra £9 off and make it £26.99

B22 fitting is also available at the same price:

Damn just bought it from Amazon a couple of days ago. The spectrum of colours is great and works well with Alexa. Best part is you don't need a hub like Hue lights or Hive.

I've had mine for around a year now and love love love it, been waiting for a good deal to buy another as I got mine in Currys clearance for £19.97

Thanks you so much for this Was waiting for a price drop on Philips hue starter kit tommorow and already bought 1 single bulb this week. Will send that back to amazon and gone for this instead.

I'm torn between the Hue lights or LIFX, depends on how good the Philips sale is. If you are in the same boat you can pay for collection (with the voucher) and have a 7 day window to collect/cancel. In the meantime can check out the hue deals (if there are any...)

I was thinking the same thing regarding waiting to see. I have paid upfront with the code but collecting so as you say you get 7 days. I was well up for getting the philips ones but looking at reveiw a bit closer now these seem better in term of light and color range. Also was reading something about the colour control on the philips hue not working correctly with Alexa. This would be a pain as planning to get aan echo and a dot on black friday.

I have 7 of these bulbs and they are great, no bridge and super bright. I have the Amazon echo in living room and echo dot in each other room and they work well with them. The only thing I would say is the colour changing don't work through Alex at the moment as IFTTT only works in the US.

Any problems with them disconnecting from the WiFi?

the lifx 800 seems better value if only for mood lighting at £19.99 or around £15 with code http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5569388 or is it lacking any features of the 1000

LIFX 800 is just white bulb. Its title on Argos page is wrong.

I've got all Hue lights but also just got smartthings and seeing as Hue e27 are like £50 each, think I'll give these a go instead!

For anyone else wondering btw, the discount is 25% off homeware orders over £30, so you can buy as many as you like and its 25% off whole order. Also another 5% off through TCB :D

Nice one, michaelu!

Just ordered two colour and two white to accompany the single colour LIFX I already own! Going to have a house full, feeling smarter already lol

Kinda sux these will never work with Apple HomeKit but I'm over it now anyway, who asks Siri to turn the lights on anyway :D
