Thought this was cheap for a trip to the cinema to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story over the Christmas holidays. There are other Light Cinemas around the UK running other offers but the Bolton one…

There are cinema's that charge for parking?? I'm in shock !!

Huh, Ye, they nicked half the car park to put the cinema in. Bl***dy cheeky b***rs.
Had planned to see Rogue One tomorrow. Seems even more poignant now. RIP Carrie Fisher :(

I haven't seen it so no Spoilers please :p I have seen clips of Princess Leia and Grand Moff Tarkin and the CGI looks a bit hit and miss.

Been today and was offered the free parking token, but we'd gone on public transport this time. The seats are sooo comfortable!
Are you supposed to pay & display when you're at the car park and then you claim it back from the cinema?
It's The Marketplace multi-storey car park - the one where you drive round and round to get to the top. You don't pay and display. You get a yellow chip when you enter, which you use to pay when you leave. The cinema will validate this / swap it for one that will let you out for free :)

Thanks, I went last night to see Fantastic Beasts. Very good cinema, seats are comfy but it'll be interesting how long they last as they don't look hard wearing. Very roomy and nice that they keep the lights on until the main movie starts.
Will be going again before the £5 offer ends (8th Jan).

Sorry can't be combined with meerkat movies, must be booked online
How do you combine with Meerkat movies? They can't take the voucher code online and the £5 offer is only if you book online.

Used this bank holiday Monday, lovely cinema. I thought it might be a promo price but as far as I can tell it's standard. The price is online only though so you have to book in advance (nothing stopping you booking online when you get there however).

Batman v superman & new captain America all pre booked at odeon iMax in 3D gallery £25 quid a ticket and worth every ruddy penny to watch it the way I need to see these films. Plus I eat over 25 quids worth of popcorn and nachos and drink - even at supermarket prices that alone odeon prices. Love it . Good deal to the limited people that can use it.

You need to go to those lengths to see the film but spend the whole time eating?!

Haha nope - no tea that night - get their about an hour early to enjoy pre and during film- making the most - why the hell night - lads night and a treat night !

I don't see the deal here. £5 is the going rate at my local cinema, I can get tickets for £5.80 through work, and what about meerkat movies?
£5 on a weekend for a 3D new release and the cinema looks like this?http://www.expressandstar.com/wpmvc/wp/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/imgID18663093.jpg
£5.80 at Lincoln Odeon, which looks just as good as that..
£8.75 +£2 for 3D then another £1 for premier seats on a Saturday night.http://www.odeon.co.uk/cinemas/lincoln/106/
I did say through work, did I not? On an employee website that MANY employers offer. £5 is not a "deal"
You also said £5 was the going rate at your local cinema.
I also have also to several discount schemes through the company I work for and none of them get 3D films at peak time for £5.
Yes, my local Odeon charge £5 regardless of age or time. My uni odeon, similar to the one you've pictured charge a lot more but I pay £5.80 through work.
Hence why I feel £5 isn't a deal. I know there are regional price differences but if that's the case, I'd suggest going on a tuesday or wednesday to see films and using meerkat movies
For 3D films? Which always carry a premium.
My nearest Odeon charges £4.50, however another two quid for 3D then one more for better seats.
