Its also apparently an 8bit panel - not 10bit.

In terms of technology, youre better off buying a Hisense 55M7000. Read the reviews. And I'm pretty sure it's 720 from ao.com after 10% off code.

It's about an extended colour range. A 10-bit panel can display it, an 8-bit panel can only 'cheat' displaying it by rapidly flickering between two colours. The Panasonic DX750 is an 8-bit panel but has a wide colour range, so not all 8-bit panels are necessarily bad. 10-bit colour is used by HDR.
