Dont know if this is store specific but picked this up at Haverfordwest aldi's in west Wales. Very powerful torch with zoom or wide angle and comes with batteries. There was loads left in store. Also comes with webbing type belt pouch.

I was in two minds to buy when it was £10 but didn't bother but decided I wanted it and when I went back today it was £3.99. For once my indecision paid off

Let me rephrase that. I mean type of LED bulb as in, T6, XML, etc.

Great torch...love the torch

Bit of advice, don't look at it when switched on as you won't be able to see for a bit, not that I have you understand, oO. Testing it tonight and can't get over how bright it is

If it runs on 3 AAA, cold as a anything.

Why?

I have a number of CREE torches that run just fine on alkaline AAA's

Not to put to fine a point on it, they are cr4p.

For 4 quid, and the average user, this is a great deal. You can be an elitest douche all you want, but for 10% the price of a Lenser that's on sale, it a steal, Cree bulbs are VERY good at the price point, I have 2 different torches with them, they will blind you if you not careful. The biggest problem with these low cost torches is the cheap metal in the battery pack, like to deform under hard use, but easily fixed with a solder touch up.

It's just a torch that's 4 quid and very bright. Been using mine all this week and for the money I am very pleased. Now I used to do a lot of night shooting and spent 10 times this for some of the scope lights I've had but this plain and simple is a cheap very bright torch that would have given some of them a run for their money.

This one looks the same to me.

I paid full price at ALDI for one of these before Christmas and was pleased with it at that price, so at this price it is an absolute bargain if you can find one. Sure, a Lenser will be better but a darned sight more expensive. These are very bright even running off standard AAA batteries.

Yes that one is the same. And from your link I found out that if you half press the switch a few times before switching on it emits an SOS flashing pattern in morse. Brilliant, even happier with my buy now thanks
