I didn't really mean to submit this as a deal. Just "miscellaneous" stuff for chat!

Worth trying for a fiver though - so heat added anyway!

Yeah, definitely worth a try at this price!!

No thanks. Sounds like they're harking back to the days of "Lambrini " and the more recent underage favourite "Chardolini" I'm probably getting old and grumpy, but come on Asda, it's no wonder Aldi etc are taking over.

I would have missed it in misc, so thanks. I'll pick one up for the wife to try.

Have to say that my friends and family all seem to prefer Cava to prosecco which I think is overhyped

I read it as Pro Gigolo (a young man paid or financially supported by a woman, typically an older woman, to be her escort or lover.)

I like baked beans. I like toast. I find beans on toast awful.

Yes, unlike your friends & family, everyone else is so stupid they buy it because of the hype. Try getting off your pedestal sometimes, it's more relaxed down here.

The one warning I'd give is that I've never seen this in Italy. If they don't do it there, it's probably for a good reason.

Try and find Liebfraumilch in Germany. An abomination as far as they are concerned.

This seems like an advert for me.

Whats the vetting process on this site for adverts masquerading as deals?

Pfft, overpriced! You can get 1.5L of 'Fizzecco' at B&M Bargains for £2.99! X)

I accidently picked up a mildly sparkling pinot grigio from marks, and it was exceptionally nice

Not a good idea unless you want to get covered in wine - that's the voice of experience!

Put Blue Nun through the Sodastream as Heston said it pretty much turns in to £1000 Champagne so I figured it must be true.

Needless to say it wasn't much like Champagne. Obviously still drank it. Waste not want not.
