Just been to my local Asda store and managed to get hold of some lillies reduced to £1.50.

Dont know if this deal is store specific, but its worth going to have a look for the big day tomorrow!!

They are used to hide the smell of dead bodies. They are very nice though. You don't see many posts for flowers etc. Everytime i post one it gets pulled. Seems like HUKD don't like flowery stuff messin up the boards

Nah, i ain't bitter, it takes time to post though, rather than just forgetting it. When i posted the PSP movies deals, another poster said ah i seen them, the offer has been on for ages and i've been buying. Never posted them, so folk could have missed the deal had i not been on the hunt for psp movies. But folk are voting this cold like all similar items. Is it not a hot deal if you are saving a bit on it. Percentage wise this probably beats the percentage saving on other stuff posted.

I wonder why this post is so cold... Are they avaliable somewhere else cheaper? if so, i would like to know where!!

It a great deal. Folk don't know the price of flowers, or maybe never buy em

i really appreciate the comments above. what is annoying is when people just vote the deal cold without justification!!!:x
#9
Because it just looks like a selection of flowers have been reduced within the shop probably because of their age rather than a national offer!

I think people vote cold as they dont see massive money savings such as 25 pounds off some item using a code which isnt even issued to them.

Or if it is a deal where they get something absolutely free which is worth some money.

If there was a way to look at the stats, you will see that the people voting cold on most of the deals are those who have never posted a deal themselves.

I think some people (you know who you are!) just vote cold for the sake of it. If there is money off then in my eyes it should be voted hot. Since when have dead bodies been buried with pink striped lillies!! I did my first listing the other day with an item over 50% off and it had some sad person vote it cold (over £110 quid off). Personally I think if you don't care for the item, then just don't vote - personal choice doesn't mean you have to poo poo it!

I voted this hot!

I voted cold as it seems like your local asda was just getting rid of old flowers but i'm off to Asda tonight anyway and if they are indeed on offer then I will come back on here and change my views.

Lillies would go down a treat with the missus though

just been to asda and they haven't got it here - would be nice to know whether this is just your local store..
#14
That is a very good price, but I expect they just happened to be one of the bunches they reduced that day as they were getting old - so it wouldn't be a national offer, you just pick through what you see, same as any other Asda

if your refering to me, if you took any notice I voted hot - it was just a comment - but the reason its getting cold is that it appears to be a local branch just selling off Lillies not a nation wide offer but if your in the local a great deal that is why I voted hot numskull:thumbsup:

ps just coz you were voted cold on a deal you put up - get over it - we all put up deals that in our minds are good and in others bad
