OlogOlog

Thought I'd share this, £180 for limited edition Pokémon consoles is quite nice, since they usually go way up in price after selling out fast, this only went up yesterday

Absolutely ridiculous that this doesn't come with the game.

I guess that's why they call it a 'limited' edition! :)

Seems expensive until you look at the price the discontinued yellow pokemon 3ds go for, £300 sealed. Certainly a better investment than money in the bank. Hot from me

£180 and no game included? They couldn't even be bothered including an AC adaptor either - "cost cutting", at £180. What a rip off.

    Pure greed from Nintendo:

"Please Note - Limited Edition Pokémon Nintendo 3DS XL in Red does not come with a copy of Pokemon X or Pokemon Y software.

Please note – the 3DS XL does not include an AC adaptor; this will be sold separately. However, the adaptor from the 3DS and DSi is compatible with the 3DS XL."

Ridiculous and people say the VITA is overpriced.

Cold from me, this is a rip off and even worse as it is one aimed at children in particular.

None of the original 3DS' or Pikachu 3DS came with games. We just got spoilt with the last few bundles.

Hasn't everyone realised yet that Pokemon is and always has been rubbish?

Nobody cares about your opinion. Just because people like a game that you don't, doesn't make it bad.

I wouldn't say spoilt. It's a bit stupid to buy a console with the design of pokemon only to not feature the game.

Nintendo just know that they will make more money this way and rip off consumers and parents who buy the console will HAVE to buy the game aswell for their children.

Heat from me, finally a chance to upgrade from my old 3DS to an XL
For those who want it with the game buy it from ShopTo, they are doing a bundle of the console and game, you don't get to pick which version of the game you get and its £228.

I never thought I would say this but GAME are pretty cheap in comparision, £180 for which console you want then you are free to pick up what version of the game you want cheap elsewhere.

Tying the console to the game is a bit stupid, I want the Blue XL but still not sure if I want X or Y.

I personally think that these won't be as good as the Pikachu 3DS XL in terms of investment.
As you said, already the Pikachu version is selling over £300 on eBay with 40+ bids on one atm http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nintendo-3DS-XL-Pokemon-Pikachu-Edition-BRAND-NEW-LIMITED-EDITION-STILL-SEALED-/161095827518?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameConsoles_VideoGameConsoles&hash=item25820f403e

These are similar to the Dsi Pokemon Black and White console they done 2 years ago and their value has dropped below RRP.

Glad I bought my Pikachu back when it was in stock :)

That's what I thought. I was holding out hope for an X/Y 3DS bundle, but I don't think I really like the look of these! Especially if it's not all that limited of an edition, unlike Pikachu - as soon as that went OOS, the eBay price went right up.

But I'm not sure why people are commenting the same tired old thing about it not including the game or charger
