Hate to point out the obvious, but why would people searching online on a site on the internet be interested in a deal that they can only buy if they cant get online??? :? who is this deal for? those that can view the internet by purely using 'the force' :w00t:

Erm, are you saying, you're postin this on a website aimed at people who don't have the internet?

ya, beat me to it.

If they can't get online then what would be the point of having Xbox Live :?

To be fair, some people might have access to the internet but not have a card they can use to purchase goods online (I know a few people like that) - back in college I only had a visa electron for a while which wasn't accepted online. Or they might not want to purchase goods online due to fear of fraud (don't agree with people like that AT ALL but I know people like that).

lol! If you can get online, then you can get a 13 month Subby for around £28!!!

This is just stupid !

Agreed, not everyone may have the facility to pay for goods online for whatever reason, but can still browse online for bargains. HUKD also have an 'offline' category for every deal, so it's best not to generalise as every individual's circumstances are different & this deal may suit certain HUKD members

lol this made me smile anyway

£20-something for 13 months online!

this can be got cheaper via the littlewoods offers. £30 off £60 means you get this plus roughly £13 of other items for £30, and it can be paid for off line.

I'm sorry, but that sort of creative accounting is as pointless as it's worthless.

If you have to spend more to 'save' then you're not saving money at all. Simple. Period. It's OK if you were intending to buy something else anyway, but if not, you've been suckered.

Eh??? You don't have to spend more to 'save'. You spend £60 and they give you £30 off. So you only spend £30. As the 12 month membership costs £47, you need to top it up to £60 with other items... but then it is reduced to £30.

So you only spend £30 but get 12 months memebership and £13 worth of stuff from Littlewoods. Simple. Period.

Yes but what he's saying is that if you don't need the £13 worth of stuff then its a waste of money. Plus 12 month subs can be gotton for less than £30. Plus Littlewoods don't always honour those vouchers unless you have been e-mailed it.

How can it be a waste of money when your not paying for it? In fact your saving £5 by getting it.

Online, yes. But we're talking about deals for people who can't pay online.

So people tell me, but I've always had the honored. If you choose to pay with the 12months option, the £30 comes off instantly, leaving you to pay the other £30.

Well its unlikely you'll find "stuff" that comes to exactly £13. Littlewoods deal is online hence why i referred to the fact that they are cheaper online. I imagine that you could pay £27 for a sub and the littlewoods price would probably be around £32 after reduction so you are paying £5 for over £13 worth of stuff. Also most of the stuff on their site is vastly overpriced. If you can find anything decent that you actually need for £13 i would be very impressed.

Also if you want to risk using the voucher codes thats entirely your decision but they have taken the money off peoples account a couple of months after purchases when they have been used and therefore cannot be returned.

I was merely pointing out a cheaper option for buying the 12 months live, without having to pay online. If you want to pick holes in it, then go ahead. You could get the Live sub and £13 woth of 'stuff' for £30, I know because I've done it. I also managed the highly 'unlikely' taksk of finding £13 worth of stuff from a catalogue, and got things I needed.
