I think Tesco have another offer on their veggie stuff at the mo, 2 for £3 or something. Will have to nip over tomorrow and check.

Think are on offer at ASDA, and included in the 4 for 3 quid, though not completely sure.

Yeah, but they are 6 packs as well, works out at £1.50 for 6 where as the LM deal is 92p for 6 (same weight)!

OK if you are into meat-replacement products.
#8
a nice pork sausage would go well with these - then you'd have meat AND veg :whistling:
#9
Farmfoods do the 6 pack for £1 all of the time

Good deal and quite tasty, but these are frequently on 'offer' half price or buy 1 get 1 'free'. Another supermarket scam.

New studies show that too much tofu/soya is bad for you... check it, especially if you are a pregnant woman.
#13
My mum used to buy these when I was a kid. I think I'm still scared by the memory. Yuk they're horrible!

Why do vegetarians want something that tastes like meat? Go down the butchers and get some juicy piggy sticks....mmmm

Lol, it's like lesbians, they like a plastic/rubber man "part" but don't want a real one. :whistling:

If you don't want the real thing then why make an artificial equivalent, never understood that.

Frequently on offer I suspect bcos they don't sell well and don't taste that good either IMO

I have had meat replacement prioducts when I lived overseas and they were waaaaaaaay better but it does make yu wonder if the stuff they put ni these things to make them taste good makes them just as 'bad' for you as the real thing.........

If you buy decent pork or beef sausages and eat them in moderation, there is nothing bad in them.

Ladyboys?

They tend to eat tofu in smaller proportions to the west. Vegans and vegitarians in the west eat tofu / drink soya milk, on daily basis, and that is where the problem and danger is.

Soy sauce doesn't count as the legums here have been fermented, nulifying the eastrogen.

Plus, in the west you find soya in almost everything becasue of the proposed health benefits in the early days of researching.

DANGER WARNING. You may be effecting your unborn child by consuming soya based products in the early to mid stages of your pregnancy! Though there are studies suggesting that comsuming such things in the later stage of pregnancy may influence your child to be more enclined to eat healthly through life.

Everything in moderation.
