  these are so dry its unreal!!
  Why do veggies eat stuff that tastes like meat? As if man never killed an animal they would never know what meat tasted like, thus veggies not having chicken flavoured dippers ans pork flavoured sausages, best one being 'fake' bacon!

  because not all vegetarians are veggie because they *dont* like meat. i personally love a steak, bacon ribs etc... i just found myself unable to eat them for ethical reasons.
  
  ...also, these are far better cooked in an oven - they dont dry out like they do under the grill. They are actually very moist sausages though i dont like them as much as quorns sausages which are also not quite as 'bad' in the salt stakes etc but for the price theyre okay every now and then. Everything in moderation.

  Not voting hot or cold as Cauldron sausages are far nicer.
  
  Bizarre how people react to this type of food, some are veggie, vegan, high protein low calories, less gristle, different taste/alternative and the usual bigoted ideas.
  
  Odd how people say they don't like them but haven't even tried one... like they could might stop eating meat! LOL
  A meat and two veg lass at work tried these sausages but said she preferred the real thing... (*ahem*)... anyway after recommending Cauldron, she tried and liked them as well!

  I'm veggie and in my opinion Linda McCartney sausages are like greasy cardboard. OK after a few glasses of wine I suppose...but then again maybe I was eating greasy cardboard pork sausages!!

  I really hate these sausages and they give veggie food a bad name - far too dry and a horrible texture!
  
  The veggie Lincolnshire sausages are far better. Also it's not even that great an offer - they always available in one of the big supermarkets at 99p
