these are ok but mine always turn out to have a really hard outer shell once i take them out of the oven, any ideas as to how i can make them moist and soft? thanks

can you cook them slower ? I sometimes do them in a sauce in the slow cooker and they are lovely - i find 'normal' sauages leave a fat residue on the top but these don't seem to.

If carrot munchers want sausages, why don't they just eat real sausages ?

These are very nice, highly recommended. (I am a meat eater btw). Always nice to see them drop to £1.
