I work at Aldi, this will not be at all Aldis just ones that haven't sold there initial stock
#2
Still full priced at my aldi. Been waiting for their left over stock to be reduced. Will keep my eye out :) thanks!
#3
these need drilling into the wall so if your not prepared to do that then don't get these gates
1 Like #4
They don't need drilling to the wall. Iv got 3 in my house from aldi I also work there and the just need tightening with a spanner.
#5
ive got 2 of these and ive never drilled them just secure with the spanner that comes in box
#6
They give the option of drilling extra bits into the wall to secure the circular end of the bolts. These only go up to 82 cm width though and are not that secure at that size either.
#7
Yea same as I never drilled mine in

Just a note: fridges for produce getting introduced now. We had chilled produce 2,5 years ago :)
Ask member off staff how to identify dates on flowers and produce. We got display until dates printed on all packaging.
Want to reach £45 spend, go for grouse whiskey, Budweiser, Smirnoff vodka or Glens. Napes, coffee, some cola good busters too.

12 roses for £3 so for occasion you could get 9 bunches to make it to 100 roses :) = £27. Looks impressive.

As i work for Aldi, i know most of prices and it makes me sick when i need to go to Tesco (branded bread £1 aldi or £1,5 in tesco), asda is not so bad but if i pay more i expect more, if i need to wait more than 3minutes at checkout i just leave my shopping in asda.(try to time yourself in Aldi, most of times you will get served under 3 minutes from tim you joined till)

Note on self scanning - its awful, no interaction, and 9 out of 10 times you need someone to key your transaction anyway.

woah!!! which Aldi are you talking about. There's always massive ques and should introduce an under 5 items till as customers always have full trolleys. I only go in to buy the dry mango my daughter loves but end up waiting forever regardless of time of day.

I have been to 4 Aldis in my local area, and I have never had to wait more than a couple of mins! In fact, most of the time the cashier is waiting for me to load up the converyor. Also people in your area must be meanies because I always insist that people with only a few items go ahead of me! (also gives me time to load up my shopping!)

Went to my local in Wolverhampton this morning and got one of the gates for £7.99 , personally I don't car about the long cues , I save over half of my normal shopping bill by shopping there so I'd rather have to wait 5 mins longer to check out and this is coming from a mom if a toddler and a baby who are always with me when I shop !

Im in Scotland. The target is if 1 customer waiting after till belt is ok, +1 you need to open another till, if you got only 5 tills and all of them are busy theh nothing what we can do, just go faster :).
As Aldi employee i try to stick to this, and all my staff getting trained to do same, last thing what i want to see is disappointed customers

Aldi getting busier all time, but there is still times when it is very quiet. In my shop its from 8 and 10, and in evening 7-9.
Wednesday the best days to do shopping from 17:00
