The £31 combo looks a much better deal. This is still a good price if you just need the router (or get the combo & Ebay the adapter)

The bundled router isn't a modem as far as I can tell, whereas this is.

Yes :)

Just a note,

I have the wag354g which doesn't have the aerial on top, but the signal strength of it is pretty poor. This being the wag200g, I wonder if it would be any better than mine.

I have the WAG200G, not dropped once, signal strength excellent - have 1 desk top, 2 pc's, a Wii, xbox 360 & 2 psp's working with it.

Hi - some advice please - I currently have the WAG354g. How does this WAG200g compare to mine - is it worth changing at this price or not? Advice appreciated. Kind regards, Mark

Bought one for my wife's parents ... they're new to the internet .... thanks. Voted Hot

This is an exceptional piece of equipment and a very good price. Mine, here, has never let me down. I paid £34.99 this time last year.

Also, bookmark the firmware updates page as they release updates reasonably frequently.

For those already using this router, what sort of distances are you getting before it becomes unusable ?

Mine is downstairs. I got a very good (87%) connection upstairs, with 2 walls and 1 floor in the way :)

Hi, I'm a bit clueless when it comes to this wifi stuff. Please could you someone advise?
I use AOL with our desktop in the lounge but I want to have wifi to the entire house for the laptop. But still connect the desktop via the cable (As it doesnt have a wifi receiver inside).
So would this product do the trick? or do i need something else? Also how do i connect via AOL if i dont go to the connection screen???
Many thanks
John

I had the w354g and the signal was shockly poor, however, after fixing a arial to it off an old unit it has been great. i would recommend linksys as they have a free help line. used then a few times the other year and they were great

I have this router and it's great with Sky Broadband. The wireless is very strong - I use 2 laptops, stream music and films to both a wireless music streamer and XBMC on an old xbox + a belkin wifi bridge, and play online with a Wii. All in all, a great product. The only shortcomings are no static IPs for DHCP clients (but I have an NSLU2 to do that and other things :) )

I have the same router, but stopped using it due to poor signal problems. Can you advise what sort of antenna should I buy, cause I want to give it to my girlfriend.

Can I use it with Virgin Media Broadband. They supply only a basic cable modem with Ethernet cable.

Thank you.
