Looks like the photo is incorrect on the website -

"Thank you for contacting our pre sales support team.

We unfortunately appear to have the wrong picture on the item you're looking
at, I've asked the product manager to change is as soon as possible but the
one we stock does not have the 4 port switch built in.

You would need 2 of these items, one for near the router and another at the
other end

If you have any further questions, or require any further assistance, please
do not hesitate to get back in touch."

Would these work in conjunction with other 200mbps homeplugs of a different brand (I assume if they do you'd have to change the security name so they all match).

£40 seems decent. Is this about the standard price for these kinds of adapters?
#5
I got this one as part of a twin pack with the multi-port version from Cisco as a warranty exchange for a PLK200 pack.

Easy set up - they just work!

£20 for an extra adapter is a bargain!!! - I doubt you will find anywhere else for under £35

Why expired? Shows over 100 in stock.. amazing price!

Anyone know if these will work with the Comtrend 200Mbps plugs?
#7
I expect some c*ck expired it to stop it going Hot.

Comtrend - no, because Comtrend are theose odd ones which aren't the same standard as 99.99% of the ones available.

Anybody confirm that the setup software works in Win7/Vista? I finally got rid of all my XP machines at home and now I can't re-configure my old powerline network! (_;)

It's about time I upgraded to 200mbps anyway...

Some chap has reviewed it on the Ebuyer website. He's using Windows 7 and seems to be fairly happy.

My 100Mb ones were crap at the new house, think the wiring is a bit crappy. This is a steal, but no good for me :(
#11
Should work fine with all HOMEPLUG AV certified plugs from different brands. Will not work with UPA certified (Universal Powerline association) or Homeplub 1.0 (85mbps) plugs of any brand.

Does anyone know if the unit plugs directly into the wall or there is a separate plug cable so you can put the powerline unit out of the way?

Figure-8 mains lead approx 1m long

Note the e-mail from ebuyer (#1) saying that the ones they are selling don't have the 4-port ethernet hub, so don't read the review and buy it expecting to get that!

Not for the 200meg ones, you are usually getting closer to £100

Been looking for 200mbps powerline networking and this deal has convinced me. Ordered 2. Plenty in stock.
#19
So these will not work with the BT comtrend HD's then? I assume they can co exist though without affecting throughput?
#20
Excellent price - ordered one to go with my existing AV homeplugs. Good thing about this one is that it connects to the mains via a lead, which means it won't block a neighbouring socket, and can be hidden behind the tv etc so the gf won't complain about the bulky plug or the flashing LEDs when watching streamed films.

Why expired?
It's still in stock.

more than 100 in stock for next day delivery
#22
Seriously tempted.. thanks for posting
#23
Not expired - still 95 in stock.
#24
Excellent deal thanks OP
#25
Ordered, Thanks OP.
#26
So does this just have one socket to stick a ethernet cable from this to say, my ps3?

The reason I ask is that I currently have netgear 85mbs ones which have x4 connections for ethernet cables!
#27
Ordered 2 to give em a whirl. Thanks to the OP :)
#28
Sadly too late for the offer, now out of stock.
