Good bit of kit I have 2 old xbox's soft modded with XBMC doing much the same thing :thumbsup:

That was my plan until I saw this at this price. I don't have an XBOX and was gonna get one to stream.

Of course you are correct but add the cost of the wireless connector.

Along with the noise issue and the size of it all put me off.

Of course they can play games too, but I do gaming on my main PC.

Big downside is that it works on Vista but no guarantee it will work with Windows 7. The old extenders for XP 2005 MCE became useless once Vista was installed. I think the XBOX 360 is already Windows 7-proof so that could be an advantage there.

i have tried windows 7 and xbox no problems! although i mainly use tversity to stream much better then windows vista or xp's streaming and it's free! don't know if this would work with it

Infact Windows7 media center is a world better with the 360 than VMC was. I can now stream h264 and divx/xvid natively, woohoo!
