This Linksys WAG160N Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N ADSL2+ Modem Router is now just £46.52 @ Ebuyer !

** I would usually add delivery charge to total, but in this case its probably better to add something to your order for around £3.47 to qualify for free delivery.

The Linksys Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway is the all-in-one solution for Internet connectivity. The ADSL2+ Modem function gives you a blazing fast connection to the Internet, far faster than a dial-up, and without tying up your phone line. The router function lets you share your high-speed Internet connection with all the PCs in the house.

Share files, printers, hard drive space, and other resources by connecting your computers to the gateway via the built-in 4-port 10/100 Ethernet Switch. Attach four wired PCs directly, or connect more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need.

This is a good deal. Usually retails for £80 - £90. PC World gave it best buy for ADSL 2+ router / modems. It is good for o2 / be ADSL 2+ connections as it uses the shape chipset as the boxes at your exchange. Simply put that translates to better speeds / more stable connections.

I would order one right now had I not just received one from misco :)
Yep got highest rating from PC Pro magazine too for its wireless capability. Great price.

Has of course a 10/100 switch in it so those wanting Gigabit for their home Ethernet wired LAN (how things change!) might want a Belkin N1 Vision instead (make sure it's the one with/without modem as appropriate to your needs).
Just so that people are aware, you need 802.11n equipment to take advantage full advantage of the extra range. In standard 11g mode, wont be much improvement. Also important to match chipsets for best performance.
great product + great price.

this is the best on the market, and the cheapest too........ FINALLY, a company has understood the importance of this ( Sony are u listening ??!! )

Using the PC World price match, you can get this down to £43.17 or something like that, plus have the convenience of getting it straight away if there's a PC World store close to where you live. Still, a good price for a great going to probably get one myself.

What has this got to do with Sony?
Great Product, I bought this a couple of month ago for about £80 so good price. works great in large 4 bed houes and PS3 wireless connection works great even on the next floor up ! Great looking product as well I think ! Hot
Shame the broadband version is more expensive.

Yes the non ADSL version the WRT160N you can use with DD-WRT but this one you can't as far as i know

If its the same as the WRT160N in terms of wireless and routing capablity (Well not quite as good becuase of the lack of 3rd party fimware) then it should be pretty good router.
I was thinking of getting this from ebuyer and thought that I could also upgrade my wireless network card at the same time to the 802.11N standard. I then found that ebuyer have the Linksys Wireless N USB adapter cheaper than anywhere else (that I could find) for £24.99. Even better though was under the special offer section it lets you buy both as a bundle and save another £5. This means you get the WAG160N Router and WUSB300N adapter for £66.51 with free delivery.

I was about to go for this when the PC World price match was mentioned. I checked the PC World site and both were in stock for collection at my local store. I have just picked them up this morning for £60.66.

All setup within no time on an ADSL2 connection and everything working fine. The other two computers with 802.11G cards are also connected with no issues.

Many thanks to the original poster and the person who mentioned the PC World Price match. Very happy
gone up already....damn...missed it!!
