still works out cheaper than other stockists, looks to be what i need...anybody no how to find out what my bt homehub is,N,G etc... ive no idea what i means but apparently they can be different?

mine is b/g but its an older one, pretty sure the latest one can do n as well though

If its black it will do Draft-N

You need the version 2 BT Homehub for draft n. This is black. However, the earlier models were also available in black, so the colour isn't a guide.
