Play charge £89.99 for just the router.

ebuyer and amazon charge £67.99 for just the router.

In fact amazon charge £30.12 just for the adapter
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Linksys-WUSB600N-Wireless-N-Network-Dual-Band/dp/B001CXUVZS/ref=pd_bxgy_ce_text_b

So for almost £30 less you get the router and a wireless usb adapter.

best thing is that thie allows you to replace the firmware with dd-wrt (if you don't know what that is check it out). Makes this device soooooo much better.

with dd-wrt on it it will work.

I've got one of these and it's a decent piece of kit. Used it successfully with my old BeBox as a Wireless N access point and it gave a much more reliable and faster connection. Currently trying to get it to extend the Wifi range of a Netgear router (but I don't quite know what I'm doing!!). Installed dd-wrt and it definitely has options for WDS. Tempted to get a second at this price.

Might not have that functionality by default though.

Fantastic price - especially for a Gigabit router

Sorry for the stupid question, but I am guessing you still need a adsl modem?

Is this simultaneous dual-band?

i dont think so, i think it is either 2.4ghz or 5ghz since from what i have read on it it is a single radio chip capable of doing either but not both at once

i ordered mine before posting here and it (for the last 3 days) has said it is "packing". I would like to know how big the box is going to be. Will be gutted if I don't get it since I was going to buy it for £68 from ebuyer before finding it on play. Will teach me to post good deals here!!!!!!

Same here. Will be selling the usb card as not needed, so should work out as a cheap router.

Mine arrived yesterday. It came via Home Delivery Network.

Inside the outer grey packaging, is another grey packaging, inside of which are two boxes. One with the router, the other with the USB adapter.

Mine still says 'Awaiting Stock'...

Not looking good.

My order has just been cancelled. Obviously no realtime stock check if they allow overorders.
