I hate it when people remove your floor, look me 3 months to recover after the last time and I'm still limping

Not sure what these ad-hoc construction jokes are about, but I suspect I'll find out as I get more into Linux...............do distros mysteriously update/break themselves when you're not looking?

"being a Linux user is sort of like living in a house inhabited by a large family of carpenters and architects. Every morning when you wake up, the house is a little different. Maybe there is a new turret, or some walls have moved. Or perhaps someone has temporarily removed the floor under your bed"

I can't see anything on the website to suggest that there's a trial offer (only a discount on the first three issues). Where should I be looking to find the T's & C's of the trial?
Cheers.

I took out a sub today and got an email confirming the 1st DD is for £1 - I'm going to cancel the DD after that's been taken, and before the next for £16.99, and drop them an email as a courtesy. A flyer in the magazine says you can cancel in writing within 60 days and they'll refund cost of all unmailed issues. I'd suggest my course of action is easier.

Don't forget the wizards and the alchemists, presenting you with walls covered in mystic runes and occasionally turning things into penguins.
