Good spec for the price, although 10" at 1280x800 is a little low. Heat added though.

The 2GB of RAM is the problem on these devices, another issue like low storage capacity can be worked around.

Unfortunately this is what we get for this price point unless we buy direct overseas. I would never buy this type of product from overseas ever again.

Why not? I have bought several tablets from China. Never had a problem and much higher spec than this low spec tablet at around the same price.

I have had problems more than once, can't throw my money down the drain ever again.

it's fine if it's works, if you need RMA the product then you may have issues.

also some of the no name brands have issues with getting firmware updates to fix sometimes glaring issues.

I've just brought one couple weeks ago, works fine, advise an SD card, and also to turn off the fast boot as this causes problems going back to tablet mode, with screen orientation not working, but this is not a fault of the machine, but Windows 10, works well for what i need it for. get mobile free versions of office. and does last around 6 hrs. a good buy for general use.

You get what you paid for, you pay for a small tool you do smaller jobs, you pay for a bigger tool you do bigger jobs. Most of the jobs in the world are tiny jobs, like a click on a browser page.

As far as I'm aware, the major difference between this and the 1010B, which is <£100 quite often, is the CPU. No good having a better CPU if RAM is a limiting factor. Far better to have put in more RAM as opposed to a faster CPU.

Big diffrence between 8.1 and 10 for Windows memory management (called a compression store).

The memory management can only do so much, Windows 10 as an operating system is a bit more heavy than 8.1 so it needs better memory handling. Open a browser and one of two other programs and your memory is still gone.
