My thoughts exactly.....wait for the usual posts......dont spend £2.99 on a cable when a piece of cotton will do the same thing etc etc

Well I just checked and they've got more than 999 in stock at the time of writing!

Usually you just try to add a huge number to your basket, and it will tell you "Sorry, but there are only this many left".

Can cotton conduct electricity?
#11
No reason to vote this cold. It's cheap and probably cheaper than any unbranded I can find.

I had one of these and they feel quality and wouldn't look out of place in any expensive AV setup.

Great price and looks good too. I'm sure these are v1.3 unlike the cheapo 1.1/1.2 versions we normally see.

Just be alert these are ONLY 1.2m long - may be sufficient for your needs, but in the past I wrongly bought too short HDMI cables before I realised just how much extra is needed to allow (for instance) a DVD player to be pulled out of a cabinet to reach its back etc.

That said it was a Linx 1.8m that finally suited me in the end for sub £10 from Play.com a year ago. High quality cabling/cover/moulding = not required but 'quality feel' to the whole thing!

There is also a shorter 1m Philex for only £1.99 on Amazon (from Amazon, not marketplace).:whistling:

If it's a digital connection, the quality of cable won't make even the tiniest bit of difference. Even between a £2 one and a £150 one. HDMI is digital, so as long as you're getting a picture on your TV, your cable is good enough.

Gold-plated connectors is particularly retarded for an HDMI cable too, but this is as cheap as you're ever gonna get it, so it doesn't matter.
