£5 cable off of ebay will do the same job....
Think I read somewhere that Gold Plated won't make any difference.

Surely places like the Sony shop selling them for £90 should be shot if thats the case?
Good reviews though...

As HDMI is a digital connection you will either get a signal or you wont.

Having a more expensive cable will not make the picture have better colour or make the picture sharper, just make your wallet lighter.
That looks identical to the Play one I've just bought at £9.99 delivered. The Amazon one is now £12.97

Ebuyer were much cheaper, but delivery took it over £10.
