Lion Bars 20p each @ Tesco

I know this is the same as the 5 for £1 deals that are out there but some people just like one chocolate bar.
Lady in Tesco Norwich said she believes it's national as the one near her also had them for 20p (so Italy actually just be Norfolk)

Right, so accusing a poster of being a zionist simply by having an opinion ? Honestly wind your neck in...

This ain't the place or time to post these views on here...

The op has given an heads up on savings on a confectionary bar; I'll post a pic incase you forgot....

Why are you boycotting tesco?

Probably because it's a bigger name than Morrisons and has more stores. As any company gets bigger it risks becoming a target for standard practices and if it changes too much and prices go up you get the other half complaining that it's not cheap enough.

Besides, there's no Morrisons near to us, or Waitrose, or Sainsburys. There's a little co-op but they've become pretty horrible places to shop.

Can someone explain why the Tesco boycott - with evidence. I'm interested to see why someone would have such strong feelings against a commercial retailer. Not saying there isn't a good reason, but I've googled it and only come up with a some bigoted groups complaining, which I'm sure isn't anything to do with ethics and a Friends of the Earth quote that basically singles it out for doing what all Supermarkets are doing.

This looks like a Tesco express, is it specific to express stores?

Lion cereal has been out years, I don't like it at all. Soon as a new cereal comes in at ASDA I'm straight on it lol

It's mostly Hamas sympathisers who are boycotting Tesco, plenty of threads in Misc where it's discussed though they keep getting moderated due to the conduct of members posting there.

I was wondering what this boycott was all about too. That explains things, as the issue is obviously now a current one. Its been discussed on and off at Co-Op member meetings for many years.

not in my area (

Good, I don't want 5 bars. Hate been force to buy 5 bars. Stop the supermarket tricks like their double price on offer & claiming it to be bogof. Only just annoys customers.

Farm foods also have these at 5 for £1

Boycott-israeli-produce
Tesco is selling produce which are grown in occupied illegal Palestine. The UN alongside other international bodies recognise this as illegal settlement.

It is illegal, unethical and oppressive to shop at Tesco who continue to trade with this companies in breach of fair trade.

So, as a shopper I would much rather go co-op who decided to end contracts with such companies.

Anyone that disagrees with illegal military excursions on the Gaza strip is a Hamas sympathiser. A bit like how all Irish Catholics are members of the IRA.
