Cheers , that must have taken ages trawling through the site!

these guys should be avoided like the plague imo

Yes. But on the other hand, no!

I've ordered dozens of things from CD-WOW in the past and had no problems. If you don't mind trawling through the site & fiddling with special offers & vouchers, there's certainly quite substantial savings to be made. However, the last couple of things I bought ended up being out of stock & placed on "Backorder". After a month of patience, I had a hell of a job trying to get a refund.

So on the whole they're very good, just be very wary of things that are not ready for immediate dispatch.

(rep added for the effort put into the OP)

if the prices seem higher try going through this page first http://www.cdwow.com/?affid=0&utm_source=newsletter-20090510COM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20090510COM

i've never had any problems with cd-wow tbh

I use them all the time aswell. Yeah dispatch can be slow (I was waiting almost 2 weeks for GTA4) but they're a perfectly reputable company, I was never out any money from using them.

Just dont order anything you're in a rush for.

just seen a few listed and none are 1.99....am i doing something wrong??

Fright Night is £2.69 but you can't complain at that price, brilliant film and wasn't sure it was even out on R2.

Thanks

Thanks, still showing £2.69.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Yeah rep deservedly added for the effort made here. A few good 'uns in my opinion.

The Saw's, Matrix Reloaded and Cheaper By The Dozen are all well worth this cracking price.

I do use CD WOW now and again. However the last time i used them, i was very dissapointed. Ok, it was only a £1.99 dvd i bought. But the sleeve was an irish version of the film, with British simbles stuck on with stickers! Also the box was quite tatty and the DVD was quite scratched, how ever the film did play. If it were another company i think i would of complained and asked fro a refund but tis just so much effort with CD WOW + it was onlt £1.99 so i just treated it as a second hand dvd.

But please, just be weary with CD WOW.

I don't much rate CD wow either. Ordered a Take That DVD for a present and not only was it wrapped in the cellophane stuff, but the front cover was all ripped. I sent it back complaining about both and they sent me another one but it's still not got any cellophane and so will look like I've bought it second hand now when I give it as a present.
