Any dual layer DVD burner can burn 360 games, the trick is to use good media and software to do it really.

Would go for this deal, but don't really even use the dvd burner I have right now.... most stuff goes onto USB hard drives now. Great deal though

I took the samsung from ebuyer at £10.99 which is a better drive altogether i had one of these and after removing the drive a couple of times the sata connectors came away with the cables needless to say i wont be buying another liteon drive, I've always had pioneers and samsungs and find the samsung drives to be fantastic they burn anything no trouble including 360 games.

Before someone comes out with the stupid comment about asking me if i know how to reomve a drive let me just say MCSA so yes i do.

I used to buy Lite-Ons but they don't seem to last very long so now I buy Pioneers and I'm very happy with them. I wouldn't buy another Lite-On at any price.

That's what happens when you just reomve them.
My Connectors Snapped Again . no need for the acronyms, just come out and say it

Does this have to be fitted in a large steel box full of dust

These are excellent drives and well worth the money.

Designed to sit in your home desktop pc (not to be whipped in and out every week and taken to your mates house or the pub or where-ever, breaking the leads), in boxes that can by the way be vac’d out from time to time to help with the cooling; these drives are fast and efficient and make copying/burning a breeze…..

There are only a few drives that will read that media - think Amazon were selling them on the cheap sometime back.

WTF does having an MCSA actually have to do with dealing with hardware it's a ADMINISTRATORS qualification means **** all to do with being able to swap hardware out ffs

SATA connectors do snap unfortunately and SATA was never a great design, they have tried to remedy this by creating SATA cables with latches. I now see even more damage to SATA connectors because people simply fail to press the latch to release the cable causing stress on the connectors. It's easier than you think to put lateral force accidently on a SATA connector and snap it off. I have built 600+ systems and not managed to do it yet, but it's always possible.

nice deal, mega cheap. lol at the sata connection comment, You must have a strong grip dude cus I have never rippped a sata connection out of a drive.

Crumbs, I've always thought they felt quite sturdy. I shall be more careful in future.

Funny ive had my hands on hundreds of systems replaced and removed hundreds of Sata Drives and ive never had one break yet. Go figure lol

I think over confidence and rushing a job is when people break things
