Great price for a Blu-Ray drive!

The Samsung one from ebuyer from the other day was a far better buy and its still available.

What makes the Samsung a better buy?

A better buy ?
Do tell us why.

The Samsung is much better because this drive only reads CD/DVD/Blu-Ray, the Samsung reads those and writes to CD and DVD. The Samsung is also a retail drive that comes with player software. Samsung to me is also a preferred make rather than Lite-On.

Cos it reads twice as fast as this one and burns discs which this doesnt (not everyone has room for more than 1 optical drive)and is a better make for an extra £7.
Its a no-brainer really.

, and we all know burning shortens a drives lifespan considerably

How much is it actually going to shorten the lifespan by. I still have dvd drives that ive had for donkeys years that still work as well as the day i bought them? Is this something specific to blu ray drives or are you talking over like 30 years.

AM i missing something this comes up as £44.05 in my basket

Unless you burn 1000 discs a year which the average user doesn't drives can cope just fine with burning and playing.

Did you post the offer?
How can it be a "No brainer" if we don't remember it!
