Hi,

Just got back from Costco at Derby and have picked up Little Big Planet 2 for £10.76 including VAT.

Don't know if its store specific, I asked the woman who fetched the game from the back and she said that they were reducing loads of games, she thought they might stop doing them?! Not sure how true that is.

They had a few left in the Derby branch when I was there at about 3pm.

Thanks

I'm guessing Costco are losing hope for PS3 now lol.

God damn I would love this for £10. Sadly Costco seem to not like Leicester. :(

lol looks like it...I couldn't believe it when I saw it though, had to whip out the handy HUKD on my phone to check what price this has been going for. Wish I had brought more now!

If there was one down peckham. I would've grabbed a couple of copies and use it as trade-in or sell it on ebay.

In hindsight I believe it to relate to how tall a chicken is ;)

You can at Gamestation, so long as it's within a certain distance (can't remember how far, couple of miles at most) and when the guy at Gamestation ring's up Costco they confirm the price and that they have it in stock.

But, this is all unlikely, chiefly because I doubt that a Costco is going to be close enough to a Gamestation. John Lewis may price match as well, but doubt it for the same reason as Gamestation. Amazon may price match if enough people tell them on the product page, but again doubt it, because frankly they wouldn't see the need to.

HOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!

Just been down (derby) no planet 2 left (shame) but these 3ds games were 6.97 (+vat) - super monkey ball, ridge racer, ghost recon shadow wars, and pes2011.
also on 360 - grey matter
- there's a few less of these in derby now though.

These aren't their normal prices. They only drop games to bargain prices when they are discontinuing the line, ie clearing stock. Same as Currys / PC World when they suddnely drop a game to £4.97 or similar...

As for the comment from radiocaf..... I think you'll find they make a very nice profit from the goods they sell as well as the membership fees!

I would like to apologize for my earlier comment, what I meant to say was "apparently they make their profit from membership fees. Nothing else!"

This is still £38 in Glasgow, I checked this morning !
#32
what a crazy offer. not my kind of game but for a tenner you can't go wrong
#33
Just been to the Leeds store - they also had Kirbys Epic Yarn on the Wii for 8.36. Rude not to pick it up for that price.
#34
how often do they have offers like this on?
#35
None in Edinburgh Costco :(
#36
omg, I would go but my membership has already ended... hummm maybe I should rejoin! :|

Try the Coventry one, from Birmingham, take the A45 towards Coventry and just go straight ahead for about 30 minutes until you see it on your right, continue to the roundabout and use that to turn 180 degrees and then it's your first exit. It's signposted well.
