Shame it got delayed.

The delay is ridiculous, why not just make a mandatory patch available on launch day?

Loved the beta now eagerly waiting for release. Too bad we don't get goodies for pre ordering (apart from Play) like the Americans. Doh

Pain in the @rse that they have delayed the game as I was looking forward to this next week and Sony have not confirmed a new release yet but apparantly it could be around 14/11/08

Pity they could not have just released a patch that forced the music in question not to be played

Typical of Sony really, theyre all about delayed titles, false exclusives and improperly tested firmware releases that brick your system. I have one & love it besides these nagging points.

A patch that couldn't be forced as if you don't have the internet, you have no patch? Yeah that'd work.

Still its better than it starting to melt because you've been playing on it for half an hour i suppose...

and also a false exclusive would be a game that is available on more than one platform like say Gears of War, Fable etc..

anyway i'm off to play Bioshock...

Consider how many gamers that don't have their consoles connected to the net though as this will be a very small amount of people and it would save many of thousands of pounds all over some song that has words from the Quaran in it.

Personally I dont know what the fuss is about as the said song that all the fuss is over was written my a muslin artist so surely it did not offend him if he recorded the song and got it included in the game. Sony are muppets for not getting onto the fact until a week prior to the release and considering this was not picked up on release

Not saying that patching a game after release is good practice or anything BUT.

Lets face it. If you don't have the internet, then why the hell would you be buying this game? You would miss out on some of it's core components. Downloading maps that others have made. Uploading maps you have made. Playing and building maps with other people while sitting in just your underwear. :p

I had 2 Xboxes, neither died, I sold them. The first was a core, I upgraded to an elite.

Oh, you mean like Final Fantasy?
